THE INTERNAL FATHER -
People who, like me, have never had a present father, have got a void in their spirit (since they were little children); such void has been growing more and more and any kind of things have entered inside.
I felt this void and its filling a few years ago. I began cleaning it, cleaning that internal place. Then I started to fill it again with something, the name of which is called the internal father: images, faces, sounds, feelings, emotions, slowly; step by step, as it is the case with puzzles, I started reimagining in my soul a father. If I know how to do the father today, this is due to this internal father's image.
DISCOVERING HIMSELF -
Goal? To understand himslef, the human nature, to face the future. Feelings are as part of our life as matter is: rage, joy, pain, tenderness are emotions in our life, not to feel such emotions is not healthy. Let us consider tenderness.. it is difficult to give it automatically when you have not got it from your father.. so?
So, let us give up going automatically.. and let us start managing this matter of internal spaces, of full and vacuum, let us handle our life and face a different future.
THE SLEEPING CHILD -
There is also an internal child inside us. A little boy who sleeps in the evening and who squats down on our knees, we can decide to stop ignoring him and start looking at him whith the loving glance of a father, we can finally put our hands, which are adult and strong today, on him and give him what he has been expecting for a long time: a caress.
A FUTURE OF KNOWLEDGE -
Re-discovering these feelings is to find a sense of presence in the world, our participation into that misterious and fascinating thing which is life: at that point to Be is not longer a relative and temporary value, but it becomes something of firm, something making sense which, in the course of eternity, is midway between what has been before us and what will be after us.
